View Poll Results: Should leather/power/heated seats and Bose stereo get in your way of owning a 350Z?
Leather/power/heated seats are must!

Bose stereo? Forget about it, go aftermarket.

Bose stereo system is a great option for the price!
+1 Go with the track. Leather seats are easy to come by, and are relatively inexpensive. The Bose is an ok stereo for someone who has never gone aftermarket, but is certainly nothing to brag about.

Crappy poll, I would have selected two options if I could.
I would buy the 'enthuisest' level Z 100 times before I bought any other one.
Good point.
So let's see. The "Enthusiast" trim comes in at ~$4,447 cheaper than the "Track" trim.
Then the question is, can i put on following or something equivalent for ~$4,447 (or less)???
a) Brembo Big Brake Kit (front and rear),
b) RAYS super-lightweight 18" (front)/19" (rear) forged alloy wheels
c) front chin spoiler
d) rear underbody diffusers
e) rear spoiler
f) Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
i was deciding between enthu and touring but then i heard bose is whatever vdc is useless for so cali, and too hot here to use butt warmer. i want leather now but not going crazy over it.
If you gave me the choice, I would say buy base. The cloth seats are great seats and aftermarket radios are easy enough to come by and install. My 06 base Lemans Sunset looks just as good as any other model (especially since 18" rims are now standard) and didn't break the bank. If I really want leather in the future, it isn't very much to get two seats covered.

That's just my two penny-pinching cents.
I would have considered the base model only only if that stinkin thing had the limited slip differential. ARGH!!!
I definitely feel that the power heated leather seats are a must. If you are in a colder climate region go with the touring. I did, and have absolutely no regrets. Actually have two friends that really enjoyed driving my car as opposed to the tracks both of them have, not that they have any complaints with their Z's. Really up to you, but either way you should upgrade sounds. If you dont want to, then go with the bose. You need decent quality sounds at the LEAST.

And my research tells me, NO I CAN'T...
Bummer...
Your research is correct...however I've heard that the Brembo BBK is nothing to really brag about...most people with aftermarket BBK spend about 5k on them but apparently they're WAY better than factory brembo's...as far as the Aero kit, that can always be worked into the price of a car from factory, it's not that much if the car comes with it...The RAY's are sweet wheels so there's not much to say there except that you can buy aftermarket if you like and still have the same set up and relatively the same weight...so really the only thing is the brembo kit...now the question is what do you plan on doing with your car? If you're going to track it or Auto X, i'd upgrade to some better brakes, if it's just for daily driving and a little bit of aggressive driving them the OEM brembo will do you fine...I'm sure I didn't help you out much...just puttin some stuff out there to think about! GOOD LUCK!

I assume GMZ is talking about getting leather seats used for $700, which maybe you can but most of the prices on this forums are between $800-$1200 from what I've seen. forget buying them from the factory as they're most than twice that. installing them isn't too much of a problem other than the heaters which I'm not sure how you would setup w/o the thermostat/controls. you could get leather seat covers, however they won't be power/heated and they won't be as tight a fit as factory.
