Default Need advice... very close to buying Z

Performance model / 6spd. / Sunset orange color.

I was originally looking for a base or enthusiast in white... should I pay the extra and get this performance model? The reason I'm interested in the particular one is because my friend works at the dealership and there is no markup. Also, they are working something out with my trade-in. Also, is the VDC and other little features worth it?

YES

I was looking at a enthusiast as well, but they had a performance on the lot and I took it. For the extra money, I feel the 18" wheels, VDC and tire pressure monitors, is a steal. I am much happier with the ride of the 18" vs. the 17" on the enthusiast model. Six speed is the way to go.

With the preformance, I believe you also get leather with heated seats.

Yes I would.

Performance is good buy. I think Enthusiast is most bang for buck.
I bought Performance to get configeration I wanted and have been happy. 18" wheels are kind of cool.

No leather on Perform. package.

Default Touring gets the leather/heated seat

Performance is the model that I am interested in as well. But it does not get you pwr seat and heated seat. To get that, pay extra ~$1,100 to up the model to touring.

Default correct myself

Forget to mention it's $1,600 extra for manual trans. on Touring. So I guess it will be ~$2,700 extra to upgrade to Touring from Performance.
I like performance, changing my track to performance not long ago.

I had the same decision to make. I got the Performance because the wheels were much more in line with what I was looking for. Plus the tire pressure monitors are cool and VDC definitely does work. The name "Performance" even sounds better, even though both will perform.

Question you need to answer is are you going to mod or not. If mod go enthusiast if no go performance.

Thumbs up

I'm most certainly going to get new wheels and lower the car 1.2". I suppose i could always sell the 18" wheels to someone who really wanted them, but couldn't get them. I'm known notoriously for modding any car that I own, but... like last time, I'm saying that I'm not going to. We'll see what happens. Anyhow, I'd like to thank everyone for their input Much appreciated.

Go with the performance. I got the Touring because it fit what I wanted. Also went with the 6MT to get the Perf. equipment. I really think that it's worth it. I like the look of the 18" wheels, as well. Since you're buying wheels, it won't matter much.
