It's a touring I believe cause it has leather + nav. I was also curious to how long this car can last, because I know g35s can go over 200k easy but I wasn't sure about the Z
you might be hard pressed to find an HR out the door for under 15k, i paid 23 for mine 3 years ago... had 35k miles on it at the time

+1 on the spoon feed, you are you a good man. Atleast, OP is willing to listen, unlike the others.

Well I have thought about the 2 seat dilemma (main reason I'd get the G over Z) and I can't help but think it would get awk/boring only having one other person in the car instead of being able to fit 3 others in the G. Deff something I'm thinking about

Another thing I was thinking about was maybe just getting a manual g35 instead because although the Z looks great, there's only so many places you can drive fast in without getting a ticket. However I do like the way the 350z looks over the G. Decisions decisions..

Oh okay thank you kindly for that tip, I deff didn't know that. I have a question. Do you Z owners feel at times like you have wasted power, by that I mean like you can never truly use your car on the street to the fullest potential because of cops/speed limits etc? I'm sort of questioning if I'd really use all the power this car has since I won't be doing track days

You won't use all the power a Toyota Corolla has to offer on the street either. It's a null thought.

Here's my 2 cents OP. I'm 21 I was kinda in your same boat but only for about a weeks time did I have a bit of a time deciding the Z or the G (With my money of course). Back seats are cool, but a two seater is a bit cooler imo. The true sports car feel is with two seats. And sure double dating is fun, but having your drunk friends in the back of the car is not fun. Or having to lug people around all night is also not fun. I have two seats one for me and one for my lady sorry fellas I can't give you a ride. Usually no one is brave enough to try and get a ride in my trunk(thank god) but I digress.

Also things to note, G is a sweet car, but personally every time I see a G I never regret my purchase because walking up on my Z just hits it home for me. & like Syner said, you won't use all the power of any car on any street in the US with a speed limit, except maybe a smart car? Anyways, look at the site you're on..my350z you already know your choice. Get the Z.

Just buy a Z you won't be disappointed you're on the forum already, Must have a preference towards the Z over the G35 plus where do you think the Genni Coup got it's "inspiration" from?

- 2 seats gets you out of having to take your GF's siblings around or a third wheel.

- 2 seats makes a girl feel real special like she's lucky to be in the only other seat you got

- Z is just a unique car makes heads turn when done right or wrong I suppose. Preferably done right.

- Z will last you the same amount a G would (same engine) depending on abuse given to the engine / chassis

- Z Gets to the point of a fun car to drive while looking great if you want a luxurious sports car go for a BMW, Infiniti is to much money for what it is IMO

- Z Has enough power for your age, but also adapts well to bolt-ons as well as had a great aftermarket support.

There is a lot more reasons it ultimately comes down to what you can afford and want. Good Luck OP, won't be disappointed wither way.

Yeah that is true getting asked for rides all the time would get annoying. And that is true I'd prob feel a lot happier telling people I have a Z than G. And okay thanks for clarifying with how long the Z would last. I'm having a rough time finding a Z that's a better deal than this one G I'm looking at (http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invento...sting=88363720), however I'll keep looking and hopefully one shows up

Default Which is the better deal?

Okay so I found 2 350z manuals that I'm looking into, here they are here
http://www.kbb.com/cars-for-sale/det...00&distance=50

http://m.autotrader.com/cars-for-sal...earchType=both

The first one is a 04 touring with nav leather and obviously tcs. The blue is an 03 base (I think). I do like the blue color much more, but I heard tcs is very imp in this car and leather and nav is deff something I'm interested in. If it were you guys, would you suck it up and get the silver or get the nicer color yet no nav/leather/tcs

(Sorry for making another of basically the same post, I'm buying a Z right when I get home from vacation so I need to know soon )

Personally I think VDC and TCS are over rated. It has only been the last 15 years or so that vehicle dynamic control and traction control have been on cars. We drove cars for years without either and cars did not suddenly go out of control. We controlled the cars with our right foot and the steering wheel. We didn't need computers to help us. The important thing is to learn to drive and drive properly. If you do that, you will not need the computers.
