Default insurance on 07/8 350z nismo

Hello. I currently have 2 350z's a 03 and a 05 35th. I'm looking at purchasing a nismo next spring and wondering what the insurance difference would be roughly. I know there are many factors in here but jus want an idea. Thanks

Why don't you just call your insurance company for a quote, instead of getting internet opinions?

Because I'm not the one it is going to be under and I can't call because I'm not authorized to. I'm on the cheaper car. But just curious if it's more expensive because of the body kit etc... If ur going be a a** don't bother posting

OP you did not provide that information. T gave you a good suggestion. Don't be a jerk.
You are probably right, it will be more expensive. It just makes sense.

Why don't you just have the "authorized" person call the insurance company to find out the pricing?

Just say its your parents policy no need to hide it. If you can afford two you should be able to afford your own policy. Lol

It'll be roughly the same price for both vehicles. I have an '04 and '07 they're roughly the same price. I don't remember the difference Id have to look at my policy.

Lol first of all I wasn't being an ***, there are often a lot of questions like this on the forums and it's pretty much a waste of time since there are a TON of factors involved in providing an insurance estimate... You provided basically no information, so how was I supposed to know the insurance wasn't under your name? I was trying to save you and everyone else the hassle of guessing what your insurance would rise to. By the time you read my post you could have already have had a definitive answer. If you think I was being an *** then you have a rude awakening when dealing with some of the more colorful veteran forum members lol. That being said when I upgraded from my 04 touring to my 08 nismo my insurance did go up, obviously. Since I'm assuming it's under your parents insurance there is no way to tell how much...

It's most likely going to be more since it's a "Nismo". It would be $100 bucks cheaper for a new GTR in my name than the Nismo, but that's a different story.

I pay $80 for the '04 and $93 for the '07.

alright thanks for the info.... like I said there are many factors involved, but if we take it from the basics; the nismo would be more pricey just because of its uniqueness..... Yes my parents are authorized because it is cheaper for me because everything is on one plan. And thats the point of these forms to ask these questions because you get people who dont ask, and buy a 05 base model instead of a 35th anniversary because you dont know what to look for.... (I feel bad for the people who have though)
