^^ this OP, If you're leaving yourself $200/month after payment and insurance, you still have to think about gas and maintenance. I usually have to fill up around once a week, and using premium gas, is around $60. So now you're subtracting that from your $200 and leaving yourself in a debt per month actually. And that's BEFORE and other expenses you have. Either get a better job, or don't buy the car because you cannot afford it right now

2 million a month and struggling??

On a side note OP, I would just get a beater and save some money before I would buy a High Mileage 03-04. The summers down there are also 100+ (I'm from Brownsville) and if the car wasn't garaged kept, the weatherstripping is poopy.
