Post Thinking buying 350Z

Hello everyone, I'm new to these forums and thought this might be a good place to ask for advice. I'm looking to purchase a 350Z very soon and have one I'm currently looking at, details below

Year & Trim: 2005 350Z Touring A/T with Bose System

Milage: 50,000

Owners: 2: First owner had car for pleasure but really didn't use that much and my friend who I'm looking to purchase the car from purchased it and has taken really good care of the car.

Modifications: Intake, in dash DVD player

Asking Price: $13,000

Maintenance: Has all maintenance records and current safety checks

Do you all think this is a good price for the car based upon what I've listed above? I have an FXT for my daily driver but I've always wanted a 350Z and since it's just my wife and I right now with my plans for kids in the near future I figured this would be a great time to live my dream of getting a 350Z before parenthood and such takes over. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I did. I'll buy you a beer at your favorite bar when I visit Dallas.

Yeah my wife will eventually drive it too and she doesn't drive stick, plus a lot of the stick models in my area have been run really really hard and have some questionable histories

Sounds like a good deal to me. If it's been taken care of and there are no issues, then go for it.

if you are okay with it being auto then it doesn't sound too bad. how good of a friend is it and how ocd with the car was he? i sold mine to a friend but he knew the parts on it, how i was with it, and saw it evolve over the years

He put a lot of care and attention into the car, only 5000 miles a year on it, before it had TE-37s, Nittos and a body kit for show but thankfully no calling out Subie drivers on the highways or anything crazy like that, which I can't say for some of the other 350Z drivers in my area.

Also thanks for the replies everyone

Buy.

the first z I test drove was auto and I really liked the transmission, very smooth and shifted great. some autos will not always find the right gear but the z didn't have issue.

Hahahaha, yeah and my wife is in love with the car, it's rare for her to like a car, still can't convince her to like an STI which she calls a shopping cart on wheels
