Default About to buy this Z any advice?

New to the forum and about to give in to this 350Z I found and was looking for any advice if this is a good deal?
2005 350Z performance model with 16,000 miles..car practically looks brand new under the hood and under the car itself..def. not winter driven..Clean carfax 2 previous owners all still in stock condition.

Dealership wanted $16,500 for it...as of right now we agreed on $14,500 and brand new tires. Is this a good deal?

Also they are offering me a 4yr 48,000 mile warranty for $2200 extra...would it even be worth getting because of the low mileage or should I get it because of the age of the car. Warranty covers all majors problems (engine, tranny, electronics) not (tires,brakes,wipers,cosmetics)obviously...
Any info or advice on this purchase would be a great help I appriciate it.
Thanks Everyone

Sounds good. Never buy ext warranty- strictly dealer profit!
Post a pic when you get it home. GL

I used to work at a dealership and the extended warranty is a scam. the finance manager if he is good brings home about $70,000 a year because they sell warranties.

I say its high priced for a z even with that mileage. you're better off getting a 2007-2008 with more miles for the same price.

I agree, I think it should be more like 12k if they add new tires, brakes, and first oil change. And the warranty, I wouldn't go a penny higher than 13k with all those added goodies.

Personally I don't think that's a bad deal. To each his own, but an 05 with 16k on it is worth 14.5k. If you feel good about it go for it. Now, if you think they'll deal some more it never hurts to try.
