I'm 20 too, and just bought myself an '03 Z couple months ago. I pay $4,200/yr for insurance and I paid a little over 13k for the car itself, and I pay for all that with a casual job on the side of school. All I can say is that owning a car, especially one like this, is a commitment. Even if you think you can afford the car initially, you need to be sure you allocate sufficient funds for the car in the future. But besides that, it shouldn't be a tough decision. If it makes sense financially, then do it because it is so rewarding driving one of these
Best of luck and update us with the new Z if you do get one
