Default Frustrated!!! Can't find a manual 370z

Hi everyone!

Its been a while since i've been to the forum but i had to vent somewhere. What the **** is going on with Nissan i have been to three dealerships and first i wanted a Brickyard Sport Tech Manual, no luck. So, ok i told them i would go for maybe black or white and after three different dealerships no one can find me one anywhere!

How crazy it's that???? is there something going on with Nissan that they are just not making as many manuals anymore? And since when did the z become a luxury car?

I wish Nissan did it like honda with the S2k and didn't offer the Barbie version.

I seriously don't get it! It's getting to the point where i'm just about to give up just because i don't want an automatic. If my car was fine i would wait but i have a tire that i have to fill up every other day, its leaking oil and on top of it the transmission is acting up....

So im in a time crunch here.

I always face the same thing when I go to look a the z34's when I'm at the Nissan dealership with my z33 or the old lady's Rogue, it's rare to find the one I'm looking for with the 6-spd.

When I bought my '08 it took me a few months to find a 6MT base, and when I finally found one it was a color I didn't like. Bought it anyway, and the color has grown on me, but I really wanted SMB or PPW.

That's the thing. I found a black one close to me, but i have tried to justify buying it and i just can't because i know if i give in, its going to annoy the **** of me for as long as i have the car, specially if i see them on the road.

I only keep my cars two to four years max so leasing I'd better for me since I don't have to deal with negative equity or maintenance costs. And if for some reason I want to keep it after that I always have the opbuy to buy

Maybe travel further out of your area? Did a quick search on cars.c0m and found 29 brand new manuals within a 40 mile radius of my area.

it's only going to get worse. most auto makers have dropped manuals all together in favor of dual clutch automatics. we're all going to have to stick to buying used older cars here pretty soon.

Now that you all discuss it, when I was initially looking for a 370z it was much harder to find a manual opposed to a 350. I just thought it was my area / timing... I ended up getting the 350Z cause I fit better and actually like it more. Although there are some SEXY 370's .

Came close myself to getting a black 370 while doing the 350 search but when I got to the car place I found out it was salvage title...no thanks. No luck locally for a manual 350 or sold fast so I traveled from San Diego to LA to finally buy the 350 I wanted forever.

Yea I suggest also to travel a bit outside of your area if you want that 370 real bad.

Fantastic I hope to upgrade to a 370 one day and I'm praying I don't have to look through a sea of autos, more manuals please Nissan!

I picked the 350 over the 370z too.

I just liked it better. Although in a couple years when my son can drive he'll probably get this and I want a Nismo 370.

The search was awful, and i had a million sales guys calling me everyday trying to get me into a different color or an automatic, so annoying.
