2008 Base Model
New Member and I am looking to purchase a 350Z and have found a 2008 base model with less than 20K miles on it and wanted to ask if there is a big difference in handling between the base model versus other models such as touring or grand touring models
Thanks
Thanks

Get it bro... Low mileage that is awesome. Handling only changes with the nismo. However you won't have a limited slip diff in the base or cruise control.
But man if you like to mod cars that would be the one to start with.
What color is it?

it is Black and well kept. I have driven a grand touring model and really liked the way it handled but have not driven a base model and plan on looking at this one tomorrow. I was just curious on the handling of the base model compared to other models

That's good miles for an 08'. I'd get it and mod it like crazy

Low miles for an 08. How much is the asking price?

Seems like a pretty good deal. I would jump on it if it has everything you're looking for.

I owned an 07 350Z HR base and all I can tell you is, you won't miss out much from other models. 07-08 350Z base model comes without cruise control and Vlsd. Down the road when you are doing mods to your 350Z, it is nice to have cruise control to switch maps with Uprev. Plus, with Vlsd when upgrade to aftermarket LSD, you don't have to buy extra input driveshaft, it's a direct drop in. The good thing about the base model is, it is the lightest and cheapest HR you can buy.

It depends on what you want. If you want creature comforts, then don't get a Base. If you don't care about that stuff, then it is perfect.
I have a 08 base and the only thing I felt like I was missing was the LSD, which I switched out with a VLSD.
Very low miles also.

Thanks for the replies- I am not really concerned about the creature comforts just basically wanted to know how the stock base model handles compared to other stock models. If you really lose that much
Thanks

Mine is an 06 base model too, with 49k when I bought it almost 4 months ago. And yes your deal sounds very good, go for it. Mod it out later
