Default Need reassurance

Hello all, I'm new to this site. I was wondering if I could get a couple opinions on a Z I'm looking to buy.

It's a 2003 6mt enthusiast.
135k miles
Cold air intake
Short throw
Stage 2 clutch
Halo headlights
Front nismo lip
New tires
Interior 9.5/10
Exterior 9/10

Roof and hatch has small paint fading, few paint chips on front bumper.

He would take 7500 for it.

Do you have any more pics?
With those mods, you can rest assured that those 135k miles have been rough miles, the car has likely been abused.
You can still find '03-'04 models that are 1 owner, well taken care of and completely stock for that price with the same amount of miles.
Search harder.

That's not much to go on. No more images? For that money, a 2003 should be pretty nice, and I'd want maintenance records on a car with that many miles.

Definitely need more pictures. If he's asking $7500, chances are he'll take $7000. Use that extra couple hundred to take it to a mechanic before doing the deal and having it checked out.

time to put your big boy pants on and figure things out for yourself. with out more pics and a video of it driving and video of the under carriage I would say if your not comfortable making this 7500 dollar purchase.. which isn't much for a used car you shouldn't be buying it.

not to mention at 135K miles you might need to do a differential service. also the sparkplugs would need to be changed soon. not to mention at around 100k the coilpacks tend to go bad. so be prepared for about 600+ in parts alone your first year of owner ship.

For real peace of mind, pay a trained Nissan tech to do a full assessment on this Z. Bring them all the service receipts as well, and make sure to tell them you are paying for an assessment ONLY, not a sales job on work to be done. It'll cost $100-300, but will be the best money you spend on considering a used car.

Wasting time uploading pics and getting opinions on a board are a waster of time IMO. You need an experienced tech with factory training to put their hands on this car and give you an informed opinion.

9/10 Exterior my ***...peeling clear coat...also those headlights are **** and would have to be replaced. I paid 7400 for my 03 touring 3-4 years ago with similar mileage with a $1200 exhaust, $800 roof, $200 intake $500 radio .

Zoom in on the steering wheel, look how beat up it is. There is no way the interior is a 9.5/10 either.

That's about a beat a Z as I've seen, and those cheap-*** mods are typical of a ricer kid who knows little about cars. They actually detract from both the performance and value of the car. The general condition is just crap, too, and obviously it's not been properly maintained. This is your "lesson" on what not to see in a potential Z to purchase.

Bad advice. Get one that is in better shape with less miles, then the memories will be good ones.

Thankfully Z's are so plentiful you can find a very nice one for a good price if you're willing to look around.

That car isn't worth $7500, not even close.

What is that horrible looking air filter looks like it was in a sci fi movie. Good catch on the strut bar, thats a bit odd that its missing. Its not perfect but it's got 135k miles on it and its 12 years old, people on this site think the Z should age like wine and some of them do, but not all of them... For $7500 your getting a lot of car for the money. It was like $30k back in the day... And even beat to **** the prices dont go all that much lower...

Are you looking for a daily driver or a weekend fun car? If its your only car I would keep looking if your looking for a base to build upon doesn't seem too bad if its got a clean title and the whole car seems to check out ok. But like others said you could probably find better if your patient.
