you already said you can't drive a standard... do you want to replace a clutch at the minimum of $750ish (if you do labor yourself)? it will be fun to drive whatever route you choose

its negligible ... depends on who you ask. the main thing is the driver, after that handling (IE suspension and differential)

there's also a 2003 touring 350z auto with 169k for only 5.9k near the same shop but 169k seems like way too much

As Trav and Pat were saying, if you're more comfortable driving an automatic, hey, your car and the only person you need to please is yourself.

On the '05 v '08 debate, I have both DE and HR, and hands down, the HR is a lot more refined between them. I LOVE my '03 and it is my forever car but if I didn't have that and was shopping, it'd be for an HR equipped Z33/G35 or Z34/G37 (which I had).

Two cents, devalued. YMMV

Ill just say if you don't know how to drive a standard and your into sports cars or cars in general... Learn to drive a standard... Not necessarily need to buy a Z for learning you could go get a old pick up truck 4 banger for cheap and learn on that...you will never want an automatic transmission again... My 02
