Default VPP discount

I was wondering.. what was the discount rate on the VPP again? was it like 5% off invoice or something? also, VPP works for every car brand right? not just nissan or whatever..

Anyone know how much discount Lexus gives for VPP. i got a cousin as Finance Manager hehe and the lexus IS300's invoice is 25,000! so about 5% off is gonna be.....23750.

The VPP program is an internal NISSAN program for Nissan employees and their family members. Does not have anything to do with any other car brands.

I bought my Z with a VPP...totally hassle free and overall very pleasant experience.

o.k. touchy subject here
I used to work for nna ...bought my z thru the vpp program...not sure about now but toward the beginning of this year I order from Douglas nsn in HB placed a deposit signed contracts everything was told of a delivery date ....date passed called dealer everyday was told its been delay blah blah blah ...received my return deposit chk...smell something fishy now had some old coworker run the vin # found that it was already invoice and sold by dlr...confronted dlr they finally had the balls to tell me that they sold it for invoice didnot order another veh for me plus was not planing on even returning my call to tell me ....jackasses clould of told me but no made me wait 2 months before I found out on my own ...if the dealer can make more money selling retail good luck with ur VPP.. currecnt vpp is 1.45% not 5%
my advise find a dealer that is willing to sell u a z thru this program first (MOS DEF NOT DOUGLAS NSN)

I bought a Roadster in February via VPP. 2.7 under invoice - a friend works at the Nissan Plant in Canton, MS and he hooked me up with a code.

The dealership at the time was still getting 1000$ over sticker on the Roadsters, but agreed to sell to me. I took one off the lot (it was exactly what I wanted anyway) and had no problems.

Got my ride with the VPP also. I had a couple of dealers that wouldn't accept it because they wouldn't make enough money off the sale. The discount I received was 2.87% off the invoice.

If you get a VPP number, it is Nissan, Ford, BMW specific. You cannot use a Nissan VPP to buy a Bemmer!

If you get a VPP number from Nissan, try to locate the vehicle you want at a larger dealership that is willing to move their inventory. This deal is a no haggle purchase! Since you are in Cali, try Universal Nissan. They will deal the VPP price with any car they have on the lot. You can also use the VPP on used cars too! Call around before going down (rhymes). FYI and good luck
