Question fair price?

hey guys whats going on? Im in the northern Virginia area and looking for Z.
I went to the dealer today, and drove the car and fell in love. I got quoted 28, 325 plus tax, tag, processing fee, and freight. Salesperson told me about 28,900 OTD. The car is 2004 6MT daytona blue coupe enthusiast w/ aluminum kick plates, splash guards, aerodynamic package, and floormats. What do you guys think? You guys think i can do better. BTW this is probably the only daytona blue enthusiast in the area, I've checked dealers inventories.

That actually sounds good to me, assuming its new. I haven't bought one yet, but from the research I have seen... sticker before the options on that one would be about 28500 before TTL, and 28900 otd with options is really good...

What is sticker on this one?

That seems like a good price to me, I have an 03 enthusiast automatic and paid 29700, but that was also a year ago. Good luck with your purchase.

yeah, but you need to check around...take the offer you got at Passport and go to another dealership...Mike Pallone Nissan sucks they didn't want to deal....I got my Z from Cowles Nissan in Woodbridge. FYI if you do get one, I would invest in some front end paint protection like a clearbra or colgan bra...

What would be a reasonable offer on a new black Base model with no options but carpets? 25k too low?

Vandy I know you live in nashville, the prices in your area are great, but maybe its a regional difference. The price I was quoted is below the True Market Value price on Edmunds. Anyone in northern Virginia know any places selling at a good price. I called Herb Gordon Nissan, and they wouldn't beat my quote from Passport.

Your deal sounds pretty good.

It all depends on how close the car your looking at comes to precisely what you want. If it is, I'd suggest go for it & start driving.

yiaquemini, are you sure herb gordon is selling 500 over invoices? I called Herb Gordon today, and I believe I spoke with Bruce and he didn't tell me 500 over invoice. I would jump on 500 over invoice.

Call Trent Earlie 1-615-248-5100 or email trente@users.ccleads.com or tlearlie@hippodromecars.com I flew into Nashville Tn. Trent picked me up at the airport and I drove home in the afternoon! The deal took less than 2 and 1/2 days to complete before I flew into Nashville. I paid $99.00 over invoice at the end of May this year. My SB ZR had a built date of 4-10-04. Trent is a great guy to deal with too!! Good Luck! Jerry. ps...My plane ticket was $106.10. The ride home was GREAT.

Guys,

Its not fair!!! I live in So Cal . I got the base 350z with 28,400 OTD (in March '04) price from Performance Nissan. I went to so many dealers.

Again, it proves that regional makes a difference. But I am HAPPY, thats what matters!!
