Default 2004 Crossfire & HD Uno Testing

This detail spanned 2 days and about 9 hours.

Wash
Poorboys Slick and Suds - Foamed
Sheep Skin Wash Mitts (Paint)
Microfiber Wash Mitt (Wheels/Tires)
EZ Wheel Brush
Poorboys Spray and Rinse (wheels)

Clay

ONR

Paint Correction
1. HD Uno via PC, HD 5.5" orange pad.
2. Optimum Polish via Makita Rotary, LC 6.5" CCS black pad

Some micromarring left over, needed a finishing polish.






Rotary:

I broke out the Rotary, OP, and a black 6.5 LC pad from this point on.

Ahh, perfection.

Day 2.

I work up at the crack of dawn to get the detail done before the football games started. I knew I had a long day ahead of me.

It's always important to brush your pad with a stiff brush in between panels to avoid dusting and the pad gumming up.

Thanks!

The paint was actually pretty good quality. It was painted in the MB factory so I figured it would be rock hard but, it's pretty soft.
