which video camera should I get?
Wife's berfday is on Thursday, she wants a video camera. Advise? Want to get something at Best Buy, Radioshack, etc...

Yes, I thought about getting an XboX with Civilization: Revolution but the couch isn't that comfortable to sleep on.

Too expensive but thanks.
Features I would like are a high X optical zoom (my understanding is it's better than digital zoom) And some image stabilization technology

Read Consumer Reports... seems Panasonic and Sony are the best in terms of reliability.
