so me and my girly have... enough porn on my comp to last a life time.. my little brother(18) is a sick little f*ck who is a porn addict, and he is crashing at my place for.. a while im guessing. i already found out a few days ago he had been looking at sh!t on my computer(didnt bother to delete his history).. so a few questions.

is there a way to maybe lock my videos or something? haha.. or hide them.. or do something with them besides deleting them

basically i just want to make it so he cant f*cking get any porn and i wont have to worry about touching my keyboard and/or mouse

Create a new user for him on the Windows OS and don't give him the admin status. Transfer all your files to your user's (admin) My Documents folder or other user-related folders. Make sure that you change the settings so that user's files are private and not shared. As long as he doesn't have access to your username or knows how to bypass it (which isn't hard), he shouldn't be able to open them.

Another way would be to zip the files and put a password on them, but that may take a while with the amount of collection you're claiming to have.

Easy way would be to hide them in a secret folder that's buried in an inconspicuous place. You have to hide the folder itself (from properties), then make it so that hidden folders cannot be seen. But, if he knows how to make it so that it's not hidden and/or does a search, he can find the files.

Keep in mind that he can always go online for porn. So, you should also change your internet settings and put a password on it (most browsers have this, so it's not hard). Again, this is easy to bypass also, but if he's not deleting his tracks, then he may not know half the easy ways to go about them.

alll he would have to do is search for video files on the harddrive and he will find it. you can check the option to include hidden files. So not matter how deep you burry it a simply search for all vids on the HD would reveal its location. Best way would be to move it off the drive completely. External HD, but even if you move all your files. there is only a few thousand different sites he could go to, to get more so keeping him off the computer or blocking certain content is the way to go

Um... Like I said, give him secondary access and he won't be able to open any files that are out of his account's scope. And again, zipping them with a password will ensure he won't get to them until he cracks the password. BTW, your last sentence is repeating what I said earlier... and I already discussed searching.

even easier way than creating a new account. go to download.com , search for folder access. download the free trial. this allows you to lock certain files or folders and password protect them. the trial version only allows you a certain number of files to be locked.

re-name all the files as generic names or numeric and hide them in some random folders like in something 10 files deep under like my documents>word>work>januaray2008>media>video>videos>PRON!

So unless you are worried about him seeing you fill out your girl like an application then who cares? Just give him a different keyboard to use.

we do not... thanks to some issues with that sh!t in the past.. haha, we just keep that in our cameras

the reason i care is i DO NOT trust this kids sanitry..ness? if it was my brother tony(one year under me, just turned 21) i wouldnt mind so much because i would trust that my keyboard would stay sticky free, and he would be concerned about making sure everything stayed sanitary.

well if your just worried about the sticky mess. buy a cheap usb keyboard and switch them out. when your going to use the computer. get the good keyboard out.

i set up a new user account but when i went into internt options to censor the content he could view it said he cant change it because he is not the admin user... but i cant figure out how to change that from my account... any thoughts?
