CPU Question

I was wondering if I can upgrade my CPU on my current laptop (Toshiba Satellite p105-s6114) from a Core2Duo t5200 to a Core2Duo t9300? Will any problems arise? Will the bios recognize it?

look up what mother board comes with your laptop, go to the website for the mother board and check out the manual.

It will tell you right in there.

From a quick search, it appears the t5200 is a socket M 479-pin.

For the t9300...
Socket P 478-pin
