I read that Windows 7 installed on a 400mhz Pentium with 96mb of ram and ran fine.

the shake feature i don't use as much. Aero peek is kind of cool i guess, but I hate how only IE has the ability to view different tabs in it. It's not enough to make me switch browsers, but it was kind of cool to use in IE.

I love the fact that you can drag screens to the top/left/right to resize them, and you can even drag maximized windows between monitors or just drag a maximized window back down to go back to regular view.

In terms of eye candy and that sort of thing though, Aero still is very meh. Just look at some of the other stuff you can do in Linux and it's kind of sad a company as big as M$ isn't willing to really up their game.

ANYWAYZ... W7 is def my next OS. I'll probably use the RC/RTM builds for all my boxes and slowly upgrade one by one so I don't hurt the wallet too much. I hope the "Family Pack" ends up being only $150 because i'm going to be needing at least 5-6 copies

I am being told that the family pack will be just under $150...so you should be safe.
