Idk man, the Corsair has had really high reviews from everywhere I've read about it. Maximumpc really liked it, and I like to follow their forums and magazine. I'm not doubting that its a bad SSD but its really pricey. I'm getting 48 more GB and faster write speeds than the Intel drive. If it ends up being a POS then I'll bow down to you, but I don't wanna waittt any longer now haha. I'd have to send it back... and wait for another... haha. But I'll be honest with a review on it after a week or so and I'll tell you how I like it.
Total cost of everything I bought currently is around $2400. With tax and shipping it was probably closer to $2500 but I bought my monitor and processor at different times and different places so I'm having a hard time remembering. But $2400 is definitely a close guess.
In the future I still want to get another SSD for Raid 0, a Blu Bay Burner, another GTX 285 for SLI, and a double loop watercooling system. But that probably still won't be for another couple months atleast.

I would have said the Corsair P128 isnt bad, but I do not believe it compares to the Intel G2 or the OCZ drives at the moment. I don't believe it stutters but it isnt the best for the price.
Other than that, I would say to not SLI your 285's and wait for the new ATI cards. They are suppose to be 1.6x faster than the current ATI cards and they will support DX11. Aside from that, you have yourself an amazing computer. I was contemplating on upgrading to i7 but for now my Q9550 at 4.2ghz and new intel drive will do.

The stuttering was from the from very poor Jmicron controllers, and from the early indrilix (spelling) chipsets. The indrilix has been addressed, but the samsung isn't all that hot, it just dies.
If you are going to spend money on the SSD, and you don't want to fork out for the Samsung, go with the OCZ as they get their hands on a lot of firmware updates due to the extended relationship with the chipset manufacturer.

FYI, you will gain nothing from RAID 0 on a good SSD drive, they are hitting the SATA2 interface limits.
From everything I've read it was the S128 that had controller issues. I thought the P128 got rid of those issues. Regardless this is what my friend recommended partially because he owns this drive himself. I think I should be alright, but like I said, if it sucks I'll bow down to you and call you God.

The Corsair X128 was the one that made the switch to the Indilinx controller, just trust me there is going to be a night day difference with the right SSD. The samsung controller is the one that most OEM systems come with unfortunately, which is why SSD's most people don't see a difference.
Where can you get a G2? I'm not seeing it anywhere online, I'm trying to think about what I can do to get Newegg to take this P128 back. Or if I'll be able to sell it anywhere for somewhat close to the price I bought it. Hmmm... decisions decisions.
