Been reading good reviews about it. Motorola's really stepping up their game with these latest offerings... the CLIQ and the Droid (upcoming iPhone killer).
The quality of the motorola devices is just nothing to compare with HTC...
The phone was flopping around in the box, it was supposed to be sitting in a cardboard cutout, unlike in an HTC box where the phone is tightly secured in foam...
I have the phone set up, it runs really smooth actually, a bit smoother than my mytouch... maybe because I dont have it loaded with apps yet, but the thing is loaded with facebook, myspace, and twitter updates already...
the new flow is going to have to get used to,,, Ill have to get all my applications set up on my homescreen like I am accustom to, I probably have no need for Open Home any more, though I am going to load better keyboard for when I do want to use the onscreen keyboard...
The keypad is really nice, feels flimsy and cheap compared to the G1 or Touch Pro keypad, but the buttons are raised so it is easy to type on, ALTHOUGH, the bottom row of buttons are recessed so take some extra effort to type on unlike the other keys...
the hardware feels nice, the opening and closing is nice and smooth... quiet too...
but the front bottom where the home key / back button are, feels flimsy like it will peal off eventually...
good thing i got a free car charger from pre-ordering, because I do not have this mirco usb port charger anywhere... shame i dont have tons of these cables laying around so i can just go to any of my workstations and plug in my phone...
access to the MicroSD card is a pain in the arse, but you dont need to get to it as long as you have the micro usb cable to plug into a pooter...

going back to the look of the old android app store is weird... I grown accustom to the new one allready...
I havent had a chance to mess around with any pre-installed apps... just a quick flick around or two...
So Ill give my more hands on review after I get a chance to play with it more after I get this stuff done I gotsta do...
