Default Powermat

Just picked this thing up today. Very cool product.

The powermat allows you to charge your iphone, blackberry, ipod, psp, and other things without the use of wires.

Here is a few pictures. I tested it with my BB Bold and it worked perfectly. You can charge 3 things at once.

No special covers required for the item being placed on it? You just lay it down and it charges?

There are special adapters you attach to the device. No you just can't place your phone down and it charges.

you have to buy cases for each device and then you just put it on the mat. The mat's powered by a usb cable. it uses magnetic induction to charge the device

So how does it work? Or is it magical like I'm hoping?

yes, there is a new back cover for your devices. Works great, charged my Bold faster than the normal plug. Plus it makes a cool sound when you place your electronics on it lol
