Acer's new nettop is a promising new product. Not only do I want 1 or 2 for my home as media PCs attached to TVs but I would like to get my hands on 1 for work to see if it is a viable low cost solution as a replacement for some of our older PCs that don't require a ton of power from the end user.
Can anyone find a date that they will actually be on sale? Please help me out. I was hoping they were just waiting for Windows 7 to be officially released but that has come & gone without releasing this product....

Both of those are more expensive & the Acer 3610 has the dual-core atom cpu with nVidia's ION gpu. It is a better option. It & the ASRock ION are the top best options out there.
The Acer 3610 also mounts to the back of LCDs & includes the VESA mount to do so.

The 2nd one has the 20" monitor included. Its got the ION and the dual core Atom..and its made by Asus, which is a large step up from Acer.

Other than the home edition OS, itwould be a great alternative for thin clients.
