Default Windows 7 vs. Linksys Network Adapter WUSB100

So then, I have a linksys network adapter, I have the linksys software, I installed it, and it works, sort of. The issue is that, randomly the wireless adapter loses connectivity and with a wee bit of research I found that linksys products have been having issues with windows 7, so far its crashed my computer, and even sent it to a bluescreen. So I was wondering if anyone knows like a secret trick to make this thing work better, it had no issues with Vista 64 but seems to be quirky with 7 64...

I was trying to find a better network adapter on newegg but didn't really see anything that caught my eye.
