Basically, I'm looking for a cheap small pc, that can play hulu amazing, lol. Right now I have a ghetto intel pentium 4 2.8ghz with 2gb of ram and a geforce 3, attached to my tv and the computer is just old, like old old, like old old old, and I want something a little less old. It'll will only be used to watch hulu and dvd's. I'm just looking for something that can handle the work load, the computer struggle's right now and I'd like to replace it with something.
I had my laptop hooked up for a while, but I need to my laptop for school.
Hulu Desktop is kind of hit or miss... the hardware acceleration on full screen sometimes has issues, and if you're running win xp you might run into tearing (W7/Vista has Aero which forces VSync so it avoids that problem... most of the time.)
If you were buying I'd suggest getting something with Windows 7 so it comes with the new Media Center. Besides Hulu, there's some shows on their InternetTV app too.
