Do any of you nerds know any PC software that you can use to automatically limit the maximum volume output at any given time? (Other than NoiseNek)
Example: I'm playing some videos or music and one song or video is drastically louder than the next. I need software that will cap the output volume automatically so I dont constantly have to adjust it. Especially useful when I'm already in bed.

Yeah, I rent, but its not lateness that's the issue. I'll queue up the entire run of Aqua Teen episodes, and the volume from one episode to the next fluctuates pretty dramatically, and its a PITA to have to adjust the volume up and down every 11 minutes.
I had the same problem for years going to sleep with iTunes playing, but the Remote app for the iphone solved that problem. I may just have to use winamp if I can't find anything....I just prefer not to because I have star ratings in WMP.
