hmm.. whats for dinner? a Jamaican Dish i say
Stew Peas with white rice, fried green plantains... blah blah blah
chopped onions, garlic, scallion and chilli pepper
Beef seasoned with chopped veggies, paprika and Adobe
Browning the Beef with Carmel Browning in the Pressure Cooker and a little oil
Water added to pressure cooker before closing up
all closed up.. ready to pressure
Beef pressured for 8 mins after pressure had built up.. now added to sauce pot
Water added to beef and back on the fire.. cook for 40 mins.. then add Goya Red Peas..
Water, Flour and Salt used to make dumplings (spinners) add dumplings to pot after about 45 mins of cooking beef
Making my rice.. (White Rice, Fresh Thyme, Scallion, Salt and a little Coconut Milk)
Cutting up the Plantains
Added to the Frying Pan.. Fry on each side till golden brown

These threads never cease to make me hungry. That looks like a good meal. What do those plantains taste like? They kinda look like bananas.

"sugar" is the difference between bananas and plantains. plantains are meatier and aren't like bananas at all when cooked savory.
