What kind should I make this weekend? Years ago, I made these badass looking Marzipan cookies. They looked exactly like little fuits. Probably when I was about 14, but they were like the biggest deal in my whole family because they looked so cool. I'm thinking about making them again. I'm really good with my hands which is why they probably came out so well..

I didn't meention those are not the actual ones I made. However they did look just as good.
No they didnt tast like fruit, although I'm sure you could add your own flavoring to seperate bowls of dough. They had a chewy sugar cookie flavor. The stems are whole cloves.

I like to snack on macadamias but don't want them in my cookies....
Nothing....and I mean nothing beats the old toll house recipe (without the freaking nuts!) with a bit of extra chocolate.
No one makes home made cookies anymore .
The real, the original, the authentic Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels (add 6 oz MILK Chocolate Morsels)
1 cup chopped nuts (Just go ahead and delete the nuts)
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels (and NO not the nuts). Drop onto ungreased baking sheets using an ice cream scoop instead of a tablespoon so and add a few minutes cooking time (Normally 9 to 11 minutes at 375 but bigger cookies go 11 to 14 mins....lift one up and check the underside at 11 minutes).

those look like they take forever to make. I'm too lazy to go through all the trouble to make cookies. I buy the big Nestle Toll House cookie bucket, spread as much of it as I can on the convection oven baking tray and as thick as I can, bake it, and than I have one big ass cookie to eat for the rest of the day

They absolutely take forever. but they are worth it...Plus they give me an excuse to use that big @$$ KitchenAid artisan my daughter bought me
