2 Boneless Chicken Breast
6 Pieces of cheese(I like to use baby swiss since it melts better)
2 Slices of Ham
3 Eggs
1 cup of bread crumbs
Salt/Pepper to taste
(I like to add some lemon pepper as well)
Slice the chicken 7/8ths thru the middle (sideways)
Slice the cheese
Wrap the cheese in the ham
Put the ham/cheese "wrap" inside the chicken breast
Put some tooth picks in the chicken breast(to hold the ham "wrap")
Beat the eggs
Bathe the chicken in the eggs
Put the chicken in bread crumbs
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes
FINAL PRODUCT

I always make sure the chicken is dry first, then use an egg wash. It's got far more adhesive properties that the chicken's water. If you don't do it, you'll likely end up with a piece of chicken and a wad of batter completely separate from one another.

Understandable about a completely dry chicken. If i am "breading" i typically rinse the chicken off and then throw it in the bag. Do you think egg adds flavor?

If it does add flavor, it's probably very mild. But when the egg cooks, it stiffens up and holds all the breading to the chicken. Without the egg, I don't know what would cause the breading to stick to the chicken. It might, but just in a very thin layer.
Honestly, I've never breaded without egg wash, so I can't really tell you.

I made 3 breast dipped in egg batter the 4th was from natural moisturizer. I did not notice any true difference in the end. There "might" have been a thicker layer on the egg coated breast. Since this is a rather boring meal i decided to put mushrooms in the chicken and tossed potatoes and mushrooms in while it baked. The potatoes should have been tossed in long before the chicken cooked. Overall, this is very simple and can be improved upon by adding your own delicacies inside the chicken or on top. I recommend using Horseradish cheese, and different flavored ham to spice up the meal. I used smoked turkey ham as well as honey ham. Marinating the chicken as well would add your own pizazz.

We(wifey and I) don't eat vegetables so there goes that. But Putting marinera sauce on top sounds good........I might do it next time.

if you really want a different flavor you can add some delicacies of my penis in your chicken along with your smoked ham.

I'm trying to figure out how work a homemade honey mustard into this... I don't know how well it would cook. Maybe I could just garnish the plate with it??? Sugar?

For a sauce i did 4 tablespoons butter,1/2 cup chicken broth,1 cup whipping cream and then seasoned it to taste. I also put some flour in to thicken it up as to be a sauce and not a soup and poured in some white wine as well
