The terminology confuses me also. I’d prefer that only the above was referred to as a “track.” The drag strip should be called something other than a “track.”
The word "track" to me can be any place where an event is timed. Weather it be a horse track, 1/4 track, roadcourse or any other variation. That is why the 1/4 "strips" are called tracks, if you disagree you are a tard
ill call it "drag strip" if im talking to someone who really aint into cars...but if im around car ppl, ill call it the track, cause i dont know or hang out with anyone that would go to any other track, other than one that measures the distance in 1,320 ft
