I have been going to the track on my new tune, but my traps are just not adding up to my hp?? I keep running 12.5@116?? I should be in the 11's and 120's. Well with the help of Alberto I think I figured it out. I have never weighed my car since it went FI. I did today... A whopping 3400 even. 200 of that needs to go. I need your help doing so. So chime in your suggestions. Heres the car and the weight scale slip.
Car looks in great shape! I'd put it back to stock, keep the mods, sell the car and buy an 03 base. If you had the money, you could buy the base first and swap the rear differential then get rid of the car.

Trust me if I could do it all over again thats the route I would go. I Fooked up and bought a 35th with all the dumb stuff. Anyone want to buy a oem navi?

Yeah, when I bought mine i really didn't factor in weight. But I found an PPW 03 base with leather upgrade. The problem is, when these car get cheaper and the ricers get hold of them it will be hard to find an 03 base IMO.
Swap seat, 10lb battery, and get a full titanium exhaust. Wow, this is going to be hard and expensive!
* Take out all stereo equipment (subs/amps)
* No spare tire/tools/jack
* For race day yuo could look into light weight rims 16" if you want slicks and have Brembo's otherwise 15" slicks or a set of nice light 17" wheels with wide DR's
* Remove passenger seat for track day its 4 bolts
* Add a nice 11.5lb Braille Battery-Sharif can hook you up on that

your main problem is your tires not the weight. Get Slicks or DR's and you'll hit 11's on that hp level. If you're running street tires you're just going to continue to slip, probably even more if you're lighter because there's nothing weighing the car down.
Alberto! What was that little equation you gave me last time I talked to you about HP/weight ratio??
weight / whp is known as hp/weight - in reality its lbs/hp but who cares...
For comparison:
Your car: 3400 / 467 = 7.28 lbs/hp
My car: 3125 / 396 = 7.89 lbs/hp My new setup (COUGH:3 days:COUGH) should be around 5.33lbs/hp
You should be faster, and you are because you have trapped 118/119mph, my best is only116mph. Im quicker because I have traction and shift like grandma

So I am thinking your car will weigh in at close to 3200 @600hp =5.33lbs/hp.
