Can I beat a bone stock 03 Cobra (terminator!)

http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=505382

A guy I work with has been talking a lot of crap about how he can smoke my Z still. And I don't doubt it...I drove his car, and it's fast. However, looking at the numbers...

Dynojet Termy: 372.2rwhp/371 torque
ref: http://www.bigshotdyno.com/images/dyno11.jpg

Dyno dynamics Z: 377.5 rwhp/320 torque
ref: my dyno chart

I'm reading about 3700 for curb weight of the cobra, with the touring Z coming in around what...3300 lbs?

We're trying to find a track close to us where we can go duke it out...but I just wondered if anyone had some experience here...

For bench racing aspect, If his cobra is stock then you should take him no problem. His #'s on dynojet seems kinda high, I thought those cobras are 390/390 flywheel. Just find an open road late night.

if youre just bench racing youll win, your DD numbers on a DJ would be about 400 and the weight plays a big role

The 03-04 Cobras were underrated from the factory. It's gonna be a very very close race as you both of your trap speeds will be very similar.

You will likely lose because you asked this retarded question. Fuking bench racers. Why dont you just compare dyno's, gearing and weight and claim a win?

Considering your stellar times I don’t see a problem: Top 25 1/4 Mile Times For ( TT, ST, SuperCharger, Nitrous, Bolt-ons, Stock ).

EDIT: Never mind. I don’t see any times.

I don't see how his post could have brought on such a vicious reply. He said he's trying to find a track so he can "duke it out" so I'm sure he's not in it just for bench racing....

That time of the month dude?

Thats vicious? LOL

He asked a dumb question, I replied with a smart a$$ answer to bring the intellectual level of the thread up

Even if somebody with the same setup had run a stock Cobra, the most important aspect of the race is different, therefore making that person's answer irrelevent to the OP's situation/question. If you dont understand this well....
