Default Best option for an 06.

So currently installed I have a JWT pop charger. Now looking to buy my next upgrade and am kind of in need of help. So I'm asking in this thread since I'm mostly looking for a quicker car in the 1/4 and also looking to increase my trap speed by a couple mph. Closer to what the HR's are capable of.

So option 1 is MREV2 and 5/16" spacer or 4.083 gearing. Now eventually both will be installed on the car but looking for right now kind of performance gains. Something to put that grin back on my face after a good drive down at the track.

For reference. My 06 with the pop charger ran a best of 13.9 @ 100 mph with a 2.1 60'. I understand I should be running a 1.9 60' but the clutch in my car would not allow any slippage so there was def a driver mod present.

But really just looking for more umph and a little more pick up at the end of the track.

I had the MRev2 with 5/16 combo, and i was not impressed. Well granted my car was not tuned. A tune is definitely required if you are going to do that to see the most out of it.
I recently sold my MREV 2 and installed the 4.08 gears. Wow, they feel amazing, and will definitely improve your quarter time. There is a huge thread about the 4.08 gears over in the Engine Drive train section started by "aceman". Go and check it out

I read that thread but all I ever read was about everyone saying that how much it actually does improve accel but no one has times or anything to prove the difference so figured I'd post it up here.

mostly since its just my dd. always did keep it in mind. might go for 4.08's and a dynotune kit. Thanks alot for the help. Also my original plans were close to full bolt ons then do a 100 shot so she breathes more easily.
