Well, it's my PB because it was my first time in the Z. Traffic was a nightmare, so I arrived in time to get two practice runs in before having to dial in. Sadly for me, the guy who staged next to me is one of two that typically wins the bracket racing in the class. I ran with him in practice sessions and he ran 18.50x. You can see from the slip that he ran 18.56 against me when it counted, and he even bested my R/T, so I was one-and-done. The DA decreases dramatically as the night progresses, which I wasn't able to take advantage of. The DA for this run was 784'.
Critique away.

Pretty solid......I am surprised that the DA was that low in Cali. I figured you would have a little more mph with your mods and relative "lightness" of the car.
When did you become a mod?

Right lane is one hell of a driver: 18.56 seconds on a 18.50 dial-in. Tough to beat.
Sandbagger in left lane got his butt kicked.
The guy that I was lined up against, a PT Cruiser with a 15.0 dial-in, got out of line at the last second, which put me next to king 18.50x. I was >< to dialing in 13.70, but with only two practice runs, I figured if I did anything wrong on the launch or while shifting, I'd get whipped. That guy left me like 0.15s of slack. . .

Haha - my track/coupe 350. Always a road course car, but it's been feeling fast, so I thought I'd try it.

Me too! I felt the car hesitating a little bit during my first and second runs, so think maybe something was off with the program. I figured it was good for a better ET and mph, as well as at least one smiley face stamp, but not against Mr. 18.50 ET. As for the mod, I was initiated today! We are getting flamed as I type this!

Those are some pretty healthy looking numbers. As David said, it's pretty hard to beat somebody like your opponent who is very in tune with the capabilities of their drag race car.
What kind of tires were you running?
And kudos to you for bracket racing. Whatever small percentage of drag racers that we have here don't seem to bracket race much, me included since I've only done it once. Also, congrats again for becoming a mod.

I thought most times I saw you guys comment give a positive spin in this forum about someones drag racing, it would typically be "you gained 24/25/26mph in the last 1/8th, your car is running strong" which mine did not. The other N/A Zs that were there were only picking up 20mph also, so I guess it was about the norm though I thought it was low.
Sadly, they were the MT ET Streets that I run on my 300ZX TT, and I couldn't tell if they were spinning or if I was bogging, so didn't get to tool around with the tire pressures.
And thanks^2!

Absolutely will do. I see my other NorCal boys, Walt and Hoooper, are on there a lot, as well as you guys here.
I was there, but Hoooper had to miss it since his car was in the shop. In his 300ZX Scott is formidable, but he shifts like a little old lady in the 350.
He had only two runs to dial in and he also ran one of the guys who is right on most of the time. Actually there are about 10-15 very dangerous competitors in bracket racing at Infineon. Mostly old guys except for Hoooper.
