Front Skinnies for 2007 HR
So I've been trying to find some front skinnies like a 16" x 3.5" but can't find a single thing. 15" x 3.5" can be found all day but 16"...no so much. Having an 2007 Z base so I pretty much have to have 16" wheels unless I want to run a giant spacer or shave my brake caliper down to get 15's to fit.
I had a set of 16" x 8.5" ZXTT wheels but I called a shop to have them narrowed and 16" x 6" is the lowest they can go.
Do I essentially have to have a set of 16" steelies narrowed to 3.5"? I would like to have matching rims but when you're at the track as long as it's functional who really cares?
Any ideas?

Im sure some wont agree with me on this but I'm trying to source two 370Z spares to use as skinnies, theyre made by Enkei I believe so theyre both light and strong, plus they actually look good too.

that's a great idea but
If you buy them with the tires as they come in the 370z car, then you'll get radial tires already on them.
So it all depends on what rear set up you'll be using.
M/T street radials would go great with the 370z complete spare tire set.
Redline I know that you know what you're doing so whatever you decide....

As far as I know the 370Z spare is 17x4 so I would just slap on some M&H 4.5/26-17.
Some of the things I've been reading have been mixed, supposedly there is also 18" variants of the spare. I'd opt for the 17s though.

In the back I run E.T Streets (26x11.50-16) on 300ZX TT wheels.
Still doing a bit of research before deciding.

Ah NVM the 17s are steelies so fawk that, the 18s are the nice ones.
Or at least thats what im gathering lol correct me if Im wrong.
So, with 18x4 370Z spares the options are indeed limited lol, MT has a perfect size 26x5.0-18 but they're not bias ply :/

Go to JEGS on line
You'll find EVERYTHING there. That's where I got my front skinny WHEELS & TIRES. They GOT the TIRES. I had Hoosier slicks but maybe my front skinnies were a different brand, or not Don't remember but they have both AND will make sure you get them to fit with no problems. After you see them on line, when you call press the service help sales line or something like that.
