Default First attempt 06 base

Not for me but for my wife. We've had the car for a few years now and she's been talking about wanting to mod it. She has never been down the track before and wanted to give it a go. So we decided to try it down the track all stock. The day came this past Saturday at Bradenton Motorsports our local track. We got to the track, lined up and I told her for the first pass to just go down easy.

First pass 14.6 and to honest I was expecting a high 15 maybe 16 for her first try. She comes back with a huge smile on her face. Looked at the time slip and told her not to worry about ET but now to start working on your 60'.

Second pass 14.093 at 100mph. I am ecstatic! That is a great improvement. She was told that if she was to go any faster that she would need helmet but the track was starting to get packed so we called it a day.

It was a great morning and I am happy to say "She is hooked!".

Glad the Z is going through the paces!

Our next step is to get an lsd for it. She wasnt launching hard enough to spin or anything. Bradenton is a very good track just hard to get a good amount of runs. Its a mt. We are going to see how low she can get in stock form before we start changing parts. Her goal is a 13.9

I'm going to assume MT for the ET difference. AT would be much closer together. I swayed about half a sec between 15 runs when I went to the track(12.9-13.4)
