ABS and VDC still inactive after disabiling

I pulled that big 2 wire plug to kill the ABS and VDC to do some drifting. Drove around a bit afterwards and parked the car for a day. I just started it at 4am to goto work after plugging it back in and the ABS and VDC are still inactive.

I was just wondering if this was common or not. Maybe I have to unplug the battery to reset the system?

Yea, so update with this in case you don't know...

All I had to do was drive the car for like 5min. and all the lights went off and everything was working properly.
