I've gone through 3 oem slave cylinders now, it's time for this upgrade. Hey Z1, any promo codes for my350Z members?

Thumbs up

Real Customer Feedback:

I have a 2007 HR 6MT TT Z ( My Build ) with this kit and I have had zero problems with it running on the car for the last ~4 months. The car is at 645/550 on a Southbend Stage 5 super single and I have no problems at all with pedal feel, engagement, nor shifting.

Installation:
My builder had no major issues installing it and the only hiccup at the time was the instructions were off on determining the adjustments to make to get the setup in recommended range for the clutch. A quick call to Z1 fixed that and my builder was given the proper way to adjust it. I just recommend the installation guide to be updated with this information to eliminate a call if it has not already been done so.

Maintenance:
I have had no issues thus far with the maintenance on the clutch or adjustment of the kit as my Southbend clutch wears (as this is recommended to be done with every oil change to keep on top of it).

I would however recommend the instructions be updated with step by step instructions with pictures for the less mechanically inclined to be able to ensure the clutch is still within it's range of play, and steps to adjust it back into its nominal recommend range so even idiots could do it The instructions that I saw on this required product maintenance part were 'vague' from a non-mechanic part.

Overall I am happy with going this route with the CSC elimination kit as I have had zero clutch problems with my build and I would recommend this product to those considering it.

Why risk a failed CSC that requires you to pull the transmission to replace? It's a costly expense for money and time for even the DIY people. Make the upgrade on your 07+ HR/VHR, especially if you're going with a clutch upgrade, and put your mind at rest!

Upgrade to the CSC elimination kit and save time and money. The piece of mind knowing that you won't be on the side of the road due to your slave going out is priceless.

So Z1, I have had your kit for maybe 2-3 years now and it solved my bad CSC just fine. However, on your website for this kit you mention at the very end "Because of the very narrow window in which this product was designed to function as a bolt on solution, this product may require adjustment through the life of the clutch."

What specifically needs to be adjusted and where?

Also, my 2007 HR is approaching 50K and I heard thats when to replace the master cylinder. Does Z1 offer anything over the OEM?

The adjustment that may be needed depending on clutch condition is very minimal and easy.

Here is an excerpt from the last page of the installation manual that makes it clearer to understand:

Because of the very narrow window in which this product was designed to function as a bolt on solution, this product may require
fine-tuning and adjustment. Not unlike a clutch adjustment, it is strongly recommended to ensure proper clutch engagement and
throw out bearing disengagement, typically at oil change intervals. As the clutch wears, the stack height will increase as the pressure
plate fingers lift rearwards away from the engine through normal clutch function and operation. To accommodate this, it may be
necessary to simply increase the overall length of the cylinder using the rear-side (static side) threaded rod – a half turn is usually
sufficient.
For the master cylinder, you can purchase the OEM master cylinder, or we can get you a Wildwood heavy duty upgraded one.
