The main difference between the Rev 3.1 and newer Rev 3.3 is the ability to adjust the clutch switches that mount on the pedal:
"- Your pedal assembly includes upper and lower switch mounts that have been made adjustable to better center the switches over the rubber bumpers. When you adjust the switches simply slide them to where they best line up with the center of the rubber bumpers, adjust for depth and then lock them down. "
I recently purchased the Rev 3.3 Pedal and installed it about 2 months back. This pedal is simply amazing for the 350Z/G35. I can't ever imagine going back to the OEM.
The OEM return spring is truly like a bear trap, the spring is just way to powerful for the application. This significantly hinders the driver's ability to feel the clutch engagement point, making smooth shifts into 1st and 2nd gear far more difficult than it needs to be.
The AFP **** is fantastic, you can finely and easily adjust the engagement point. But my favorite features are the ability to adjust both the pedal height and angle of attack. These cars were designed for "shorter" people in mind, if you're a tall guy like me 6'+, the pedal positions can be a bit cumbersome. Being able to adjust the angle of attack on the pedal arm and the neutral height of the pedal is simply awesome.
For the quality of the materials/build, this pedal is a great deal. Anyone else who has one will agree with me on this. It honestly enhances the driving experience, and frankly, puts an even bigger smile on my face when I fire up my Z and put it into first gear. I can't believe the pedal hasn't sold yet and I think it's mostly because so many Z/G owners just don't know about RJM performance, it's a small operation, but it's QUALITY.
