Roll cages

Roll cages
Well, after two track weekends, the 3 point belt simply doesn't hold me in my seat. Does anyone know of any plans to fabricate a mass produced 4 point roll bar for the Z33? I simply don't have the funds to invest in a custom cage, and since my car is driven on the street, I don't want a full 6-point cage (yet).

harness
I installed a schroth harness this last weekend and it works great.
Lift the carpet on the back deck andwhere it goes vertical you'll see to bolts and a metal strip. That is where I attacked my harness. The harness is a 3pt attachment with 4 connections. 2 lap and 2 shoulder. These were originally installed in my BMW.

Yeah, a harness would be more practical if you're still driving out on the street. If it's strictly used for the track, then invest in a cage, I don't know if a mass-produced one will be available any time soon.

I might have the wrong idea on the harness your describing... but you cant have a 4 or 5point belt without a roll cage, if you flip you cant duck your head when the top crushes.
and also remember if you have a roll cage you need the 4 point belts and a helmet at all times is smart so you dont bash your head into a post.
