No word from the Evans folks yet - we were waiting on them to respond (they ask for a week to respond to e-mails). Tony, I will call them up Monday am - will send you a note via e-mail.

UPDATE!

Hi Guys,

I've had a few conversations with EVANS cooling and the test is on! They've sent me a couple gallons coolant and a gallon of flushing agent.

I'll do this test exactly as described earlier in this thread.

I have my Z over at GT Motorsports getting a Mo TEC installed so I can have complete control over the motor functions. IE No more unexpected interference from the ECU.

After I get the Z tuned and baselined I'll do testing with the stock ECU and with the Mo Tec. We will see what happens with both conditions.

Give me some time with this. It may take a while to get the Z back from GTM, but once its in, I'll post the test results.

Thank you,
Tony

No. As long as everything is within safe limits, the only thing to look for is a change in ping threshold or a change of power.

After suffering through 100+ posts I expected this to result into some kind of comparison or test between radiators for the 350Z. If 100,000 commercial installations has not swayed the automotive world over to NPG, hmmm, maybe there's a clue here?

Thumbs up

I owned a Maxima for 5 yrs.---bought it used, had 36,000k on it---, never even flushed its radiator or changed the coolant. Never had problems with it.
Sold it with 60,000k on it. Why should it be different with the Zed? Relax, Wraith! Our monZters are reliable!!! BTW, temperatures reach 104F here, maybe not quite as dramatic as 120F, but, still, serious stuff for cooling systems.

I had a REVUP with excessive oil consumption and had to put things on hold for a while. I'll get back on it soon.

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead, way dead. But I just read 6 pages of amazing information with the teasing build up to a promised and apparently sponsored test, and I just got the biggest case of blue ***** ever :/ if this test has been done please point me in the right direction to find it.
