oh on side note. You have an enthusiast right vitviper? I noticed that when I accelerate hard in 2nd and 3rd gear all the way through the rpms my slip light comes on and car bucks. You get this too oryou think its an install issue?

its a natural byproduct of reducing the final drive ratio...turn the traction control off when you're trying to ring the last ounce of performance out of the car. Ultimately, traction is determined by the tires and the temperature of the ground/pressure/alignment

ok. just making sure, (does no one like to argue or what)

because if its shown shorter then top end is shorten.
making it rev threw faster at a better percentage
...

making it a good mod for the z because of the death of hp in the last rpm..

i think ima needa a tune with gears..

how far can i take a 06 rev up with an orisis tune..

ive heard 7500.. but i know that has to be pushing it. or no
?

Three words .... Attention Deficit Disorder. I usually am not a fan of Ritalin being the cure-all but homeboy needs it desperately.

Touring. Absolutely no problem in any gear... I can accelerate hard through all of them with VDC on with no issues. No problem with my stock wheels/tires and my aftermarket setup. I do also tend to turn off VDC if it's dry outside (only use it when it's raining).

BTW Gooey, I'm waiting anxiously for Cobb's AccessPORT... Going to raise my rev limit to 8000 rpm so I can have these shift points:

Top Speed in 1 gear = 40.983 MPH
And changes into 2 gear at 4900 RPM dropping 3100 RPM
Top Speed in 2 gear = 66.906 MPH
And changes into 3 gear at 5590 RPM dropping 2410 RPM
Top Speed in 3 gear = 95.744 MPH
And changes into 4 gear at 6261 RPM dropping 1739 RPM
Top Speed in 4 gear = 122.336 MPH
And changes into 5 gear at 6294 RPM dropping 1706 RPM
Top Speed in 5 gear = 155.489 MPH
And changes into 6 gear at 6352 RPM dropping 1648 RPM
Top Speed in 6 gear = 195.830 MPH

Not too worried about 5th/6th revving to 8k, but 1-4 will definitely love it.

How, why, what and everything: torque multiplication due to gearing.

my last post....

try reading the thread next time. There was no need to keep asking the same question multiple times...the answers were posted already, starting with the very first post in the thread

Check the VQ35HR forum. I posted they should be announcing the release date this week. And yes it can adjust a/f, timing, etc, etc.

I have a similar problem in my G35 with stock gears.

I usually leave my VDC on and turn it off for spirited driving. Sometimes I forget to turn it off when I start my car... If I rev it up a bit and shift into second gear, the VDC activates the brakes when the tires slip a bit... So, when I'm actually trying to go a bit quicker to pass someone, I end up going slower because the VDC clamps the brakes.

I'm thinking about getting one of Kevin Pearson's VDC control modules to keep the VDC always off.
