Default Grinding while shifting?

well ive been noticing a problem with the tranny shifting lately. If im taking it easy i have no problems, however if im really into it it grinds when i shift into 3rd and into 6th with the clutch fully depressed but not in any other gears. It's not user error. Now if it was the clutch would i not be experiencing it in the higher gears first and not just in 3rd and 6th?

how many miles are on the car? you may just have a failing transmission due to previous owner. It is wierd that it is only happening shifting into third and sixth gear. It may be a clutch issue but doubt it since it doesn't happen in every gear. Probably need to tear the transmission apart.

I am equally impressed at your veteran forum status. I see that providing you with the tools to find the answer to your question was not an acceptable response; I will work diligently on correcting my insolence.

I also noticed a moderator was nice enough to move this thread into the proper section. Obviously an oversight by an esteemed forum Jedi, like yourself.

We look forward to future threads from you, such as:

"Why r my tyres wearing so quickly?"
"What will thiz body kit look like on my car?"
"Will i need to roll my fenderz with 19x9.5+0/10.5+0?"

I hope you find more direct answers for all of your inquiries in the future.

thanks Xlr82x! Just hit 80,000 km. That's kinda what I'm thinking cause it is only in those 2 gears.

Advan z33 Sorry I'm not a troll who sits there and ups their post count by being dick to everyone in the forums. When you search and it comes up with 200 threads to sort through I'd rather make it quick and simple and ask for the help I'm looking for. If your gonna **** on someones thread cause of a question why don't you hit the back button..... It's equally as helpful

Not looking to start anything, and I don't choose sides, but... Think about this a second... why are there 200+ threads on the same thing? hmmm... cuz everybody else thought it'd be "quick and simple" to ask for help instead of searching. So then what's the point of having a search function then? let's run the thread count to 1 billion for "grinding while shifting"...

Everybody is saying "search" because I guarantee you would have found your answer in SEVERAL of those threads, instead of going through all this with other members. Look at how much time you've wasted by arguing with other members, when, in the time it took you to open this thread, you would have found what you're looking for already.

I'm just sayin...

Again, I gave you a very simple way to find the answer you are/were looking for. YOU gave a "smartazz" reply; I rebutted based on your attitude. As far as my post count, I have an average of around 3 posts per day and most of the time, I try to be helpful. I hardly think that defines me as a troll.
