Just got my sikky swap headers, and they look great! Also got my motor and trans about ready to mock up in the bay.
Just a heads up to you guys, sikky has great customer service, easy to talk to, sent me shipping info asap and I got the package freaky fast! +1 to you guys!
Has the AC and PS been solved with the swap? I might consider this swap in the future, but I refuse to drive any car w/o AC and PS
I believe Sikky makes mention earlier in the thread about A/C conversion lines. Of course you'll need to recharge, but if you're swapping the factory engine for an LS-based powerplant, recharging the A/C shouldn't be a difficult maneuver.
PS i was under the impression could bolt right on...i was wrong one time in the past though. April, 1989. Could be wrong once again.

On the LS6 FD I had, I had to have the AC lines made and connect to LS1 AC compressor, and re-used the stock condenser I belive... For PS, I also had to have custom lines made and use it with LS1 PS pump. Or there was an option to go with aftermarket PS pump... my memory is bit hazy since I did all the work about 3~4 years ago.
I was expecting similar with the Z but I wanted to know if there was simply a kit that I could buy to make AC and PS work. Hinson sells PS kit for FDs but the AC was a custom job and it was pain in the ***. There also is an issue with connecting AC switch so that it automatically turns off in high RPMs, so you don't end up with a leak due to too high of a pressure.
