We already have a VQ35VHR here now. We were originally putting it into an S13 convertible. But now I think I want to stick it in my 04 350Z and boost it. We just need to find the time. We are seriously slammed with work.
When we are busy our "shop" projects get pushed to the back burner. Customer builds always come first!
Heck, I have even been in the shop turning wrenches the last few weeks trying to keep up with it all.
But we have already done the layout of the harness and are 100% positive that we can do it. We already re-wired a harness and threw it on a VQ37 just to make it run on the ground(like in our previous video). Just have not had the time to stick it in the Z.

Yes, one of my many project cars.... I have an S14 with a 350Z widebody front end and an all steel widebody rear end conversion. Trunk and all!
I have built a 4.3L stroked VQ35 ANDDDDD I am using the AWD oil pan and diff from a G35X. I then made an adapter to run the Skyline R33 GTR 5-spd manual trans.
I still need to build a custom front cross member but I can do that in a weekend.
In short, it is a Z-front/G-rear 4.3L stroked VQ twin turbo 1000hp and AWD 240SX. I call it Frankenstein!

here are a few pics of the build but I will make a complete build post when it gets a little closer to completion...

It is still a work in progress. It will be my craziest hodge podge of Nissan parts build EVER! But it will also be EXTREMELY fast and completely unique. We use this shell to try all kinds of neat stuff.
It's fun!

So if I get a g37 swap you would be able to make a harness for me? 100% plug and play. And it will enable to pass an obd2 emissions scan?

The thread you've created lately are the best things I seen on this site from a shop in EVAR!

Alright, what about the myth of a VK50 mounted midengine in Z with a GTR transaxle behind it? With or without AWD, up to you guys.

is it possible to do the G35 rear end and keep the trunk? It looks way better keeping most of the rear qp this time, than your previous attempt and only using wheel arches back.

Thia is 100% accurate! Not only is it OBD-II compliant but it is also still 100% tunable.

Wow! So it'd be 2g's for a plug-an-play harness to replace a tired old, high mileage 'DE' motor with a VQ37VHR?

Provided everything bolts in and is plug-and-play, this is a highly attractive option for anyone looking for a new motor or to break 300 WHP NA.

My DE has 153k on the motor. I plan on doing a motor swap around 200k. I was opting for an LS motor, but with the ability to put in a VQ37VHR and have everything work I am probably going this route.
