Ok. So I finally found the engine I want. Brand new seals all around, new timing belt, Titan can gears, hks 264 cams, new The water pump and belt and seals are from Toyota not aftermarket also cam seal, crank seal, and rear main seal. It's a non vvti with wireharness ecu and igniter.
I'm picking it up on Friday after work. Driving 12 hrs round trip to get it. I'm getting all this for 2700. What do you guys think? Fair price.
Also bought a 350z to put this in. So whole front end is off and the engine is ready to come out. My question is where do I disconnect the drive shaft. At the rear by the diff or at the front by the tranny?
Also did anyone figure out the wiring situation???

No. I know the drive shaft is custom. I'm talking about taking the drive shaft out of my 350 but I guess since I have to get a custom one made it doesn't matter. Ill just disconnect it from the diff and pull the whole thing out.
The wiring I was talking about was the gauges. I was also wondering about the power steering of the 2j what do we have to do to make it work?
Also what do we do about our engine harness N the 2j one. Do we splice in or???

thats pretty cool raffkid. i know that you can do it using dakota digital box. how much did that run you.
i also thought about buying a stock mk4 supra speedo and custom making one with the stock 350 one but not sure how much labor intensive it be.

Just received my Fidanza flywheel. Thanks zspeedperformance for the fast shipping.
The only things are left is the Southbend clutch, ARP head studs, OEM head gasket and exhaust manifold. They should arrive next week.
I will use my stock clutch as a template until the Southbend clutch gets here.
Today I will bleed my knuckles by taking out the stock twin and intake manifold.

I should note to those running the adaptor with the Z trans that there is limited space for fans because of the limited space you can push the trans back and they will need to be reversible and mounted on the other side of the radiator.
