The cars are in my gargae so I'll go ahead and answer those questions. Yeah the passenger side mount was busted so we replaced that. And the AC question I'm assuming was about getting the lines loose, and yeah I had the tool and didn't know it. It's the same tool for fuel lines, learn something new new every day I guess. Tank and full rear have been swaped 9ver as of last night and now its odds and ends on the rear then onto starting it up.

im back
sorry ive been MIA for a while due to some broken bones.. finally back working on the project and im glad to say its almost done! ill post some pictures and answer any questions anybody might have.

silver has a flood title and blue has a clean title.. not sure how im going to title it yet. need to talk to dmv and see if they will let me title it as the blue car

My blue z was wrecked on passenger side so I was able to cut the driver side arm off at the same place and I had a welder put it on. It came out perfectly even

So im prepping for paint and decided to test drive it yesterday. Forgot to mention i put a aftermarke coolling fan on it, Which only had a positive and negative wire. The oem harness had 4 wires going to each fan. I figured out that its two positives and two negatives. It ended up working great to where it would cut on at idle. Keep in mind i hadnt tested it driving yet. So driving yesterday was great for first mile then temp got up to 60%. Pulled over and let it cool.drove it the one mile back to my house and that one mile got it to hot line. No smoke or any! I know it has to be my fans or my thermostat. When i pulled over i didnt hear my fans running, but that wouldnt be the reason it heated up so fast. Thats why i believe i have a air pocket in my thernostat. Ive ordered a new one but wont be here for a few days so i just want to hear what you guys think it might be

Im still having trouble bleeding the air out, tried everything i can and its still overheating. It shoots straight to hot almost as soon as i put it in gear. I can rev at idle and it wont heat up. Im really trying to avoid replacing my thermostat. Does anybody know what else it could be or any other way to burp the air out

Not trying to sound like a smart a$$ but after you run the engine for a minute, let it cool down for a bit and pop the radiator cap, refill the radiator and rinse repeat. Same thing happened to me with my G35 and ended up pinging it out and limped it into an Arby's parking lot after installing my headers and refilling the radiator.

I did some searching and finally figured it out. Theres a plastic bleeder screw on heater hose the on the passenger side behind the plenum. I uncapped the radiator cap and unscrew the bleeder valve. Then i started the engine (a little coolant might splash out) then squeeze upper hose and simultaneously fill until it wont take anymore. Then i put the cap on and waited for it to get hot (while the bleeder valve is off) and it will eventually expand and overflow out of the bleeder screw, thats when i quickly screwed it back in. Now its perfect, no overheating at all
