Driveshaft Broke in half
About a week ago I hopped my Z's front bumper up onto a parking curb, since then I noticed a slight vibration in the car, more the body and not the steering column. Over the next week the vibrations got considerably worse till if I went over 20MPH it felt like my brain was going too rattle out of my head. You should also know(not sure if related) that when I go extremely slow I hear a scraping sound internally(not against the ground). Anyway, I got too my friends shop and had a mechanic hop in, shifted into first gear and the ****ing driveshaft snapped in half. It all started after I hopped the bumper onto the parking curb and I was curious if you could tell me how exactly that led too it, if the internal scraping sound had too do with the driveshaft, and if I should be concerned about anything else like the tranny, axles or differential. Haven't had it put onto the lift yet but I will shortly(obviously this will shed some light onto the situation and if there are any other issues) but in the meantime I was curious about your inputs and if you can shed some light on this BS. THANK YOU

The OEM drive shaft is carbon fiber...pretty sweet if you ask me...when you jumped the curb I bet you shoved the exhaust into the shaft and it probably chipped or knicked it. Essentially you've created a weak spot on the drive shaft and it perpetually got worse. I broke mine back in the day in a similar manner during a launch...
I would either find one on the forum or a local salvage yard. Either get a good amount of pictures or be able to inspect it in person - you don't want any surface damage. If you do want a new/aftermarket driveshaft look into the drive shaft shop.
