How about another?! LSx Build Inside!

First LQ I've seen. Had to do a little catching up but that means it's an iron block 6.0?
If you want to gain any power out of it, it sounds like it was a good way to go for reliable NA power. I saw this quote on LStech from someone
"He said a LQ9 with full bolt ons, LS3 heads from TSP, LS3 intake, and a cam from TSP(we didn't talk about how big) can make 500rwhp"
Not sure how much $$ this would take - probably 1/2 again more than you've spent already! but it's got room to grow and respond better than the VQ.
Curious if you have any data of drivetrain weight before and after. How does it handle with an iron block driving hard around town? It has to at least be noticeable?

From what I recall, weight is somewhat relative. (Someone correct me if I'm in left field). The car really doesn't feel that different in regards to cornering. Ride height is still the same with no adjustment to the coils.

This is true. I've entertained it, trust me.
I'm on the fence with which direction to take from here...Boost or NA. That ultimately decides how the build flows from this point.

2k miles round trip and all is ALMOST well.
Z has been having issues staying cool while at low speeds/idle. Does fine 55mph+. Fans are too small for the setup, but almost the biggest the radiator will allow.
Swapped the stock core with upgraded fans and all seems well for now. Need to do more traffic/road testing, but seems to have helped the issue.

Not the first time I have heard of cooling issues with this swap. The other one I heard about bought a vented carbon fiber hood and I think that did the trick. Also any pictures of your fueling setup?

Yeah, thought about that as well.
I can snap some pics for ya if you'd like.
Its a simple setup.
Fuel Tank>Braided line to Filter>Braided line to fuel rain
>Braided return from filter to tank

Decided to pull the motor this weekend and clean up a bunch of things in the engine bay.
First things first....always hated that sub-firewall. Not a whole lot of room behind the intake to run lines or harness.
Personally, I think it looks much better. Headlight harness will be tucked in the fender well to hide as much as possible. If I had more ambition, I would fill all the little holes that I'm not using, but I don't.
Next is grinding, sanding and paint.
