Can a lightweight flywheel cause a loose crank pulley??
I have had my act streetlite flywheel for two years now and two springs in a row at almost the exact time my crank pulley has come loose. The first time I thought that since I'm a newb I didn't torque it right. So I torqued it to 35 ft lbs +60*. That was about a year after I installed it. No problems for a year. Today I heard the chirping sound again and knew what it was. Sure enough it was loose again. So I torqued it again to spec. But I fear someday this is gonna cause my pulley to wobble and shear off the little key in my crank. That's worry some to say the least.
Any ideas?

Terrasmak- stock crank pulley
I did get the locktite advise from a local engine guru. Big block Chevys though. Kind of a different animal. I'll try that with a new bolt. Thanks
